Mudge Week Contest at the Manhattan Arts Center

The Popenoe Entomology Club is calling for submissions for the annual Bug Art and Photo Contest to be held during Mudge Week 2025 (March 31—April 4).

Mudge Week is organized annually to celebrate entomology in honor of Benjamin F. Mudge, a beloved K-State professor of Entomology among other topics.

This year, PEC is partnering with the Manhattan Arts Center to display all of the submissions at the Center during Mudge Week. This competition has categories open to club members as well as the public (which includes Faculty, Staff, and everyone in the greater Manhattan community). All submissions should feature insects and/or their relatives!

Submissions are accepted first come, first served until each category is full (due to limited gallery space) or until February 28. Artwork/photographs can be submitted physically or digitally.
